Rolling In The Dough

eClips has partnered with the Cornell School of Hotel Administration's Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship (IHE) to capture their series of "Conversations with Entrepreneurs".

The first lecture in the 2006-07 series was given by Joseph and Giancarlo Turano II who have been busy growing their family business, Turano Baking Company.

Turano Baking was founded as Campagna-Turano Bakery, Inc. in 1962 by Mariano Turano. His entrepreneurial spirit lives on in his grandchildren Joseph and Giancarlo Turano II. Since joining the family business, Joseph and Giancarlo have broadened the scope of Turano Baking Company to become a $100 million company with over 600 employees, which serves thirty-five of the top 100 National Restaurant Chains. The company commands a strong share in Chicago's competitive specialty bread market.
