Broadcasting 101?

Sure, most college students enjoying downloading music over the Internet...but three Cornellians recently took things to a new level.

Yaw Joseph Etse '08, Alex Zahn '07 and Jeff Bookman '07 are the co-founders of Slope Radio. Founded in 2006, Slope Radio, Cornell's first all-student produced radio station, was established to provide the Cornell Community and listeners across the globe, with "the hottest college internet radio station on Earth".

Slope Radio broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and creates podcasts to allow listeners to listen to their favorite shows on-demand. Slope Radio is available at any time, to anyone on Cornell campus (and around the World) with an Internet connection.

Alex Zahn took an hour out of his busy schedule as Cornell student/Slope Radio President to sit down with eClips and discuss the challenges of balancing the management of a radio station with the demands of a full-time academic schedule.
